Ahead of the plans by the minister of Federal Capital Territory ( FCT ) Mohammed Bello , to stop the sale of Alcoholic drinks in parks and gardens all around the city of Abuja . The parks and garden owners have written the minister of the FCT , reminding him of the pending suit against him in the court . The called on the minister to respect the rule of law and call his workers to order and stop the enforcement of the closure of parks and gardens in Abuja by 7 pm , a letter written through their lawyer , Ifeanyi Remy Agu , the group states that what is in practice in Nigeria is democracy , rule of law should come first in all we do in Nigeria , and not the interest of an individual , our believs should not come to play in the issue concerning Nigeria
