ABOUT FIVE PEOPLE HAVE DIED IN A BOMB & GUN BATTLE ATTACK IN SOMALIA

Entertainment About five people were killed during an attack that was carried out by the Al-shabab fighters in the Capital city of Mogadishi . The armed men gained entrance by setting off a bomb in the government building in Somalia's Capital mogadishu . The office of the Mogadishi's Mayor was the target , the attack took place around (09:00GMT) , they were engaged in a firefight with the security forces and according to report on sunday , 23rd Jenuary ,2023 , six member of the armed group were killed in the gun fight , while about sixteen people were seriously injured . The terrorist group has claimed responsibility of the attack and they stated that its bombers struck the government building " then their foot fighters entered the building after killing the security guards " they added .

It was reported that nobody was the target except the school . Three employees of the school were shot and killed by the suspect on monday , the victims were identified as ; Cynthia Peak 61 , Evelyn Dieckans , Hallie Scruggs , Williams Kinney , Katherine Koonce 60 , and Mike Hills 61 . It was reported that the suspect was a former student of the Christian Convenant School , he was armed with three guns , including a Semi-automatic rifle , according to the Nashville Police .
