Entertainment The incident took place during a Lunar New year celebration in the United State on Saturday night . The suspect who was identified Huu Can Tran , was found dead in the van he fleed with . The suspect allegedly shot himself when he noticed that security officers has sorrounded the van , according to report , the suspect died from the gunshot wound in California on Sunday , 22nd Jenuary , 2023 . Ten people lost their lives , five men and five women was reported dead , many more were injured . The officers in the state of California said , the shooting happend at ballroom dance club on saturday night , some victims were left in critical condition in the hospital in California while few people sustained minor injuries according to an eye witness .

According to feelers , the deseased has been busy preparing for his exams , he was awake all through the night reading his books in order to be ready for his exams . It was reported that nobody was the target except the school . Three employees of the school were shot and killed by the suspect on monday , the victims were identified as ; Cynthia Peak 61 , Evelyn Dieckans , Hallie Scruggs , Williams Kinney , Katherine Koonce 60 , and Mike Hills 61 . It was reported that the suspect was a former student of the Christian Convenant School , he was armed with three guns , including a Semi-automatic rifle , according to the Nashville Police .
